How do you know if your child has ADHD? Here are a few oversimplified but telling observations:

  • if he cannot sit still on a task for 5 minutes,
  • he cannot wait for his turn,
  • he frequently forgets his things in school or at home,
  • he does not seem to be listening to you when you talk to him.

80% of the time they are boys with absentee or distant fathers. In a way of speaking, ADHD boys are symbolically banging their heads against the wall trying to get their father’s attention, acceptance, affection, and approval (The 4A’s).
